Goals and Objectives
Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between the University of Manchester (UOM) and the University of South Norway (USN).
- Utilize UOM’s extensive expertise in areas such as public service modeling, personalized information, eParticipation, and AI/data analytics.
- Combine USN’s strengths in public service digitization, democracy, and e-government to foster collaboration and create valuable synergies.
Addressing the Challenge of Personalized Information
- Create solutions to deliver personalized information about Implementation Measures (IMs) to citizens.
- Tackle the challenges posed by the diversity of ‘sub-cases’ within IMs, such as the differing requirements for similar public services.
- Improve the efficiency of public service descriptions to prevent an overwhelming and unsustainable increase in the number of cases.
Policy Recommendations and Technical Solutions
- Develop policy recommendations aimed at addressing the root causes of inefficiencies in providing personalized information.
- Explore technical solutions, including enhancing or creating best practices for applying the Core Public Service Vocabulary (CPSV).
